I've contemplated getting Internet for my apartment....I might not get it, and stick to a mobile data plan with good quality data.
The Internet is something that people abuse just like any addiction out here in the natural world.
Everything in moderation. We don't always need be plugged into the Internet. Getting annoying eventually.

Broke my Iphone 2 weeks ago, havent even gotten a new phone yet.

Im obviously going to get a phone pretty soon here but Im still debating on what to get. I want to go straight basic, just something that can call/text but thats going to leave me without music/gps/banking app etc......
I know ill end up getting another smartphone but Im enjoying this time without it.
