It's a very passive way of doing it, but at least she got your info. Then if she hits you up with a "it was nice meeting you yesterday blablabla", then it's game on.

Forgot to mention -- yeah I gave Bird #2 my card, but we already have each other's contact info (her firm organized the event, I emailed her to register for the event, we met each other in person for the first time tonight)

I was joking with these hedge fund dudes and shorties and asked broad questions to the group.
