So tired of this damn heat wave. Been around 28°C (~82° F) for almost 2 weeks now and it's projected to be around 26°C for the next week too.
Gotta towel dry myself practically every half hour and at night the temperature just doesn't go low enough to cool the home sufficiently as we have no airconditioning.
I don't know how y'all manage it over in California

Yo if anyone know anything about cars maybe you can help me out?
So I got my brakes replaced and the rotors on Tuesday. I get home and everything seems and sounds fine. Today as I’m driving I back up and I hear this weird sound as if it’s metal grinding against each other. Now that only happens when I’m going in reverse. I never had to go in reverse on Tuesday. So I leave to go back home and about a block away from home I hear this sound that doesn’t sound right at all while I’m in Drive this time. I guess I would call it like a rattling. Idk if it could be that I ran something over or would you say it’s maybe an error on the mechanics part. I am going to call the mechanic back but I was just wondering if anyone can give me an idea as to what it is?

Maybe no Brake fluid, or poorly installed.
You might have gotten finessed though cause the guy who replaced the brakes should have also made sure the brake fluid mechanisms is working properly or the container fluid is filled.
