the thread about nothing...

I put in chik fil a open labor day and the first thing that pops up says it's open today

Hours vary by location. Seems like most will close by 6

Not that it matters to me. There's no chick fil a around me lol

I dont think God loves houston, Texas.
It rained on July 4th and now it's raining on labor day.

Hmm. Got a random friend request on fb from someone I haven't seen in 15 years.

Someone I knew from grade school and hs.

We were never friends. He was part of a group of friends that I didn't get along with in grade school. In hs we didn't interact at all.

A lot of people in that group turned out to be deadbeats, high school drop outs, in jail.

I accepted his friend request and it turned out he actually turned out all right. Kids and a house in long island. Who would've thought.

You gotta wonder sometimes. Recently I saw one of the kids from my class who was a bit strange back then - and he looked really strange now. Just everything about him exhuded something a little off.

But, I think I saw one of the other really odd kids at a store checkout not long ago too. He was dressed entirely normally and talking to his wife/partner in a perfectly sensible way wiht a couple of normal looking kids with them...

I guess it can go either way - we're all pretty stupid at 14 and things can change a lot in the next 10-20 years.

No joke, I'd acually like to catch up with this guy. None of our interactions in grade school was particularly pleasant. In high school we had an unspoken agreement that we'd pretend the other didn't exist. I'm 32 years old. I'm past all that now, and I'm genuinely curious on what happened to a whole bunch of people I haven't seen in 15-20 years.

What if he's on NT?

The best is when you and your true day one friends all go separate ways and when y'all are in the same city and link up it is just as if everyone picked up where they left off the last time they linked up.

Sometimes I feel like I'm still on the starting line and others are taking laps.

Many people around my age are either engaged, married, or married with kids.

Idk if I'll ever get there lol. All I have on the immediate future is getting through grad school
