I get an email asking if I've interviewed at the office before and I reply back that I did

One week later and they still haven't responded. The place is about an hour away so I don't care too much about not getting it, but why do companies just not reply back? Such a mean thing to do. I'd rather get a no than no response at all.

Maybe they putting you into consideration.

But i get how you feel, I remember applying for best buy back in college and needed a job. I blew the phone interview, i was like damm then i smarten up and reapplied. Did way better the 2nd time amd got called for a inperson interview. I got the job on spot while other people had to do 3 rounds of interviews.

That best buy discount was a blessing!
