Has anyone paid to jump ahead of someone at the barbershop?

I never purposely did it but a long time ago I had an interview coming up and my barber got back to me real late (the day of) to get my hair cut so he basically called and told me to just show up ASAP. When I had arrived I was prepared to wait but I guess this lady overheard our phone conversation and she actually let me cut in front of her son. I was shocked/happy so before I left I paid for her son to get his cut and thanked her profusely
