He's not getting cut. He's guaranteed 3.5 million next year.Parkey is done. They should cut him
Eh I dont see a problem with it since certain roles are still gender specific, plus since men have an advantage with major roles going to them more frequently. How would it look if nothing but guys won awards?I'm surprised award shows (Golden Globes, Oscars, etc.) still have gendered awards. In 2019 you'd think they would have done away with it by now. The Grammys don't have awards for specific gender/sex do they?

Their a roles that normally clean up at award shows (Historical biopics for example) that women would not realistically not be able to play (Like "Vice" for example). That leaves them at a distinct disadvantage in some categories making the playing field unevenWhat does gender specific have to do with it?
I don't have a problem with it, I'm just surprised is all; especially given today's social landscape.
So you just want professional mix gendered sports? If that’s the case they should do away with men/women events in the olympics....or genederd sports in general.

Once the playing field for actors and actresses becomes leveled is when I think it should be done but I think we'll see it alot sooner. Problem is theirs a chance we the men could sweep the show which could cause or backlash or the judges will gift an award and people will see it as pandering (Grammy's). I personal dont have an issue because although vastly different I have always respected both genders equally (Actor of the year = Actress of the year to me). Were different as hell and that should be celebratedI see your point. So do you think they will ever do away with gendered acting awards?
I've never cared about award shows. Not once

I like seeing when people win awards and are genuinely emotional/shocked.

Waits forfreakydestroyer to say the illumanti made cody miss that kick.
There is a script in place for who advances in the playoffs and who wins it all eventually. It was well decided before hand. Only reason it came down to the last play was to keep the fans on the edge of their seats.
