the thread about nothing...

I put together clues and factor in the potential ratings to come up with a prediction. If only I have the actual script. I could see this matchup doing well also. LA and Boston are both major cities and have their fair share of rivalries in other sports.
Ehh...to go from "openly mocking the public" to "I put clues together" is quite a step down in confidence.

Rams vs Patriots was probably the most boring outcome lol
Easily.

You could have had 40 year old qb's battle it out. You could have had the young guards take over. Instead you get a team no one likes and a team no one believes in. If there are "powers" controlling outcomes of sporting events, me thinks they are pissed at the Rams for getting to Brees and causing that interception.

Rams run game should be way better than the Chiefs but their offense as a whole aint as explosive. Their defense may be a little better but against the run they suck. I think the pats take this easily

When I said they were mocking the public, I was referring to both the games going to OT today. If you really want to go back to grab receipts, I said in the same post that a case can be made for any pair of the four teams remaining. Just because I did not accurately predict the outcome does not mean there is not a script in place. I know pro wrestling is fake but I cannot predict who is going to win the belt.

Not that serious for me to go back for receipts.

Side note, when did that become a phrase? Sounds really feminent. This isn't a shot at you, as the first time I heard the phrase used by a non-online article was from Mike Golic Jr on his radio show.

I'd say your measurement for prediction is weak at best. If I remember correctly you also stated Eagles/Saints was a better draw for the NFL than Bears/Rams...the 2nd and 3rd largest media markets.

Drake's gotta be a huge gambler right? For someone so famous whose time is probably constantly in use...for him to ALWAYS make time for sports? He's gotta be making money off of it. No one is that big of a fan.

I used to think it was a joke but after what happened to Saban and bama I really think dude is cursed

I believe everything freakydestroyer freakydestroyer says. Not being sarcastic.
I don't disagree with the idea of there being unseen powers controlling things.

When it comes to sports, I can't imagine it being totally and completely fixed.

Now to show that im not extremely closed minded i can admit 0art of my inability to process this idea could be due to my attachment to sports as it has entertained me all my life.

But I would need solid evidence to be convinced. There's never solid evidence presented. Just coincidents spent to favor a narrative.

The original question was after the game, why would the Eagles be picked over the Bears to advance and play the Saints? I did not mention anything about the cities/markets. The reason that popped up in my mind was that Nick Foles is more recognizable than the Chicago Bear's QB.

There is no one size fits all to deciphering the script. It is based on the elite's agenda whether it's ratings, world events, natural disasters, player's legacy, economies, corporate sponsorships, politics, etc.

I've made bold predictions (Cavs coming back from 3-1 deficit to win the 2016 NBA Finals, Trump winning the election) that turned out to be right and I have also made incorrect predictions. But even when I am wrong, that does not mean the events were not fixed/scripted. It only means I did not connect the dots correctly.

It will be Dree Brees vs Nick Foles. More of the public know who the Eagles' QB is than the Bears' QB. Chicago will get thier turn soon.

If I am inferring correctly, you are mentioning the recognizability of the QB's in relation to how it will draw in viewers, correct?

If so, again i point out to you...2nd and 3rd largest media markets.

When you are right in your predictions, it too does not prove that everything was fixed.

Your approach is similar to solving a math problem which you always follow the order of operations. However, the elite's decision on who to pick can vary depending on various factors and priorities.

When we look at the media markets, they like to have a top city in the championship games. But sometimes that is not the case like for the Broncos vs Panthers, these teams are not based in the largest cities. However, the storyline needed two top QB's in the Super Bowl and Peyton Manning to ride off to the sunset. Of course, this is my conjecture and there is no factual evidence of this "script".

There are some things in life that people believe in but do not have tangible proof of. Some people think that God exists. But the people who share a faith in God can practice different religons. A less extreme example would be you or I having a bank account that we deposit our hard earned money (perhaps life savings) into. Yet, we have not met the owner/president of the bank! But we perceive the bank and the FDIC to be legitimate.

Someone who I confer with on this board who also believes sports are rigged, picked the Rams/Chiefs today and I picked the opposite. Like religion, we have similar beliefs but different interpretations and applications. We both got half of it wrong, but that does not invalidate our theory that sports are rigged.

I am only speculating based on clues that I pick up. Whether I am right or wrong in my predictions, I do not know for certain if the script was based on the reasons I came up with. I cannot provide proof that the outcome of certain games were decided beforehand and vice versa. Someone who thinks the games are on the up and up cannot prove it either.

This is such a pet peeve of mine.

Put "release date" in the title...

And then you read the article, and they have no clue when or IF it's releasing.

They do this with every shoe.

The worst lol
