Bad Day. Was just robbed in front of my friend's place about 2 hours ago near Oakland Chinatown. I was sitting by the steps at the apartment he owns, waiting for him so we can grab lunch. 5 dudes came up and surrounded me. Asking me for my phone and car keys, I didn't give it. The whole time I was debating if I should fight all 5 but saw two of them had a decent size rock in their hands and don't know what other weapons they might have and I don't know if it's worth it. Took them 5 plus minutes to snatch my keys and phone. One of them got in my car and I guess he doesn't know how to drive a stick shift, got out and ran off. Was able to catch everything on video and the cops know who it is.
Now I need a phone. Should I go buy another one tmr or wait and see what happens?

Thanks all. It was all so unexpected. So much was running through my mind on what's the best approach at that moment. Its just a phone so it wasn't worth it. Just waiting to see what happens next.

Im on it. once the cops get them and call me in ill get all their info. *****a** ***** needed 5 of them to take my **** and it still took them over 5 min.Sorry to hear this. Hope you get justice.

It was an iPhone. cops tried but wasn't able to, they might have turned the phone off.
