I see it as people gaining some sort of security. They figure with people getting vaccinated, there’s no need to be as cautious. A lot places are also loosening their restrictions.

Going to be interesting. If cases really start getting out of control again, then what? Did folks really think once vaccinations started, this virus would go away?

about 30% of USA has one dose

The vaccine does kill covid, so to speak, it just keeps you from getting sick. Immunity. So it can still be spread by vaccinated people.

It’s more a part of the LA Latino culture than a dress style. It’s never gone away and doubt it ever will.

The crazy thing is I always encounter Latinos wherever I go in the LA area, it's realistically impossible not to encounter one, but I never see them dressed like that anymore. I guess I'm not going to areas where they still dress like that, so it seemed archaic to me.

The vaccine doesn't necessarily prevent transmission, only like 15 percent of the population is vaccinated, kens and Karens are still out there not maintaining social distancing or wearing masks, new strains.
