the thread about nothing...

That’s such a tough one lol my favorite movie growing up was Wayne’s world. It was just goofy and had me cracking up. But as far as movies I’d recommend top 5
-Crash
-The pursuit of happiness
-Inception
-Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
-Slumdog Millionaire
Foreign mention
- Y tu mamá también
Great list. Wayne's World & Crash I haven't seen. Pursuit of Happiness was amazing. So much emotion in that movie, especially the subway bathrooms scene. Inception really was a novel segment at the time of release. Dream within a dream. They should make a part 2. Slumdog Millionaire was an experience. That came out in '08 I believe. That was the perfect year- Obama's first run, Olympics in China, Slumdog released, Kobe was back in the finals.

Man, I didn't realize this side of the internet until that exposing in the Kevin Samuels. When I 1st came on here ppl was damn near harassing me about who I use to be. Even gotten pm's about it. I thought they were ****in weirdos, now I get it. They're still weird, but I'll remove the "o" from. People really be on the internet lying about their lives. I just don't get the point. Now I don't believe a word you say when u relate it back to yourself, and imo that defeats the purpose of a conversation.

Its common for people to lie about their lifestyle on the Internet; like the Gold Street Capital NTer.

But the stuff that been as of lately, just been weird :lol

Job is making us come into the office one day a week “until further notice.” I knew it wouldn’t last forever but the mandatory 5 days a week in the office has to be a thing of the past. Management has been singing praises about how productive we’ve been while 100% remote. You can’t ignore that.

What happened to these Dodge Neon SRT? Used to see these things everywhere. Can’t remember the last time I saw one. I know they had a short production. It’s like they all just vanished off the face of the earth.

They used to have decent zip back in the day for the price. Car was trash but put a stage kit on there and they could zip.

That seemed to be the general consensus. Aside from the performance, the rest of the car was cheaply built.

That’s exactly what Dodge was aiming for. A cheap car that could run with much more expensive cars. My bro has a black 2005 ACR edition and it can still move even with all its aging parts. Lots of young folk recognize the model and ask if it’s for sale.

Such simpler times.

I wish I had never gotten rid of my EM1 Si. Or at least kept all the goodies before I traded it in to get my Lexus IS at the time. Crazy how much parts are going for now.

Aww man yeah, you should’ve stripped it to bone stock before selling it. I’ve always done that before selling any car, down to the k&n filter. Back to stock all the way.

You're right I barely see any of these even the non SRT versions. Car was a great idea, only weighed 2900lbs & had some oomph from that 2.3liter. Back in 2015 a childhood friend of mine was driving the non SRT version with his cousin in the passenger seat. They loved to drink & it was late at night. The intersection they were driving on had a slight elevation in it & taken @ speed you can get the car airborne. My friend did just that & lost control of the car once the wheels hit the ground after going airborne, hit a tree trunk dead on. Both him & his cousin died on impact. The Neon was literally lodged into & wrapped around the tree trunk. My friends face/skull was so disfigured his family had a closed casket wake for him. His cousins family opted for reconstructive facial surgery...I did not go to his cousins wake. Upon investigation authorities found Henny bottles in the backseat ☹. The irony of it all was they died right across the street from a cemetery. Ain't that some ****. Dude was in the Navy & both were just 27-29 at the time...tragic just horribly tragic

For reals. It was an impulse. Had a horrible day at work. Went to the local dealership and ended up driving off in a new Lexus.

I had a set of red Recaro seats, Type R headlights, optional oem rear lip, authentic front Mugen lip, front and rear Mugen tower bars, and some other stuff. Those were the main money items.

Damn man, that sucks! All of it was worth keeping because of its value but also leaving the door open for you to get another one down the road.

How did a conversation about Neons turn so dark? Don’t mind just uncomfortably laughing at the horrible images in my head
Lmao my fault, didn't mean to dim the mood. It's just everytime I see or read about a Dodge Neon that memory automatically pops into my head. Met the dude in the 1st grade. Never imagined he'd go out like that. They were suppost to cut down the tree but that never happened. It all happened 6 years ago & where it happened is just a 3 minute drive from my place. Tree is still standing
