Should've turned "not for you" into a joke. Maybe when u see her again u should jokingly ask something like "still no dm's?" & her response could lead to u using a "what about phone numbers?" joke, the response u get after that is the answer.I asked my co-worker out the other day and I got turned down
Cliffs notes:
- We're both Nurses and 26 y.o.
- She started working on my unit a couple of months ago
- I see her once every two weeks or so, as I work Full-time and she only works night shifts (Part-Timer)
- I've yet to actually work a shift with her, but I've had lengthy chats with her during the change of shift/handoff report.... or as I would be finishing my shift and she'd be starting hers
- I'd always get her to laugh in those 15-20 mins, and we'd always engage in some witty-sarcastic banter
- One day, one of my Foreign co-workers offered to grab me some water and asked me "How do you like your water?"... and I responded sarcastically with "IDK...medium rare?". Jess (My Crush) overheard my joke and started laughing.
- The next day, she was giving me report on one of the patients and she cleverly referenced my "Medium Rare water" joke and giggled... I know it's a big no-no to ask a co-worker out in a professional setting but I thought I had a chance after she referenced my joke
- The next time I saw her, I noticed she had a tattoo of which looked like a heartbeat but she told me it was the Harry Potter castle and it was just the form of art... regardless I started teasing her on her tattoo and pulled up a picture of the castle on my phone and compared them.
- Ten minutes passed, and I was fixated on asking her out. I didn't want to be too upfront so I asked her, "Hey Jess, are the DMs open?"... then she responded with, "Not, for you" in a sassy voice
...... and I just walked away
- I told 5-7 of my female co-workers (around the same age as me and her) the story and they told me she's usually on the shy and reserved side... and they all advised me to try again.
Should I just take my losses and move on or should I give it another shot?

The best gift I ever got from a woman, I ate it. It was like this multi chocolate types artistically placed in a jar so it could be melted into hot cocoa. It was for this secret santa thing. very observant, and the fasted swimmer I've ever seen in person. She is a good friend, and I miss her. I regret eating that thing just about anytime i think about it. Didn't even get damn picture

She likes you, whatever how exactly, when she's telling you "not for you", as suggested by others you can come with some joke, like " so you're telling me I just have to create a fake account and stalk you ? " it could be a cleaving joke while it could surprise her you dare to make it. Some daring could be both pleasant and disturbing, so you got to follow your instinct. Only advice I would give you, like someone said take her out of the piedestal, for sure, and please don't tell the others at your work you like her : you can't trust no one. And what if among the ones you told this one woman does like you ? It could mean she might ruin your chances with the one you want, or, if it doesn't work with this one, maybe the other could have been a nice one to you. Women talk a lot, they can't keep a secret. If a woman knows something, another woman would know it. I had a dream a few hours ago I was going to be convicted and while talking to a woman I learnt she was some kind of expert about Justice and I do remember having made a joke in this dream, to her I guess, the line from Al Pacino in The Godfather part III, from what I remember I think she enjoyed it
I even remember having pronounced it in english, with is unusual for me

I'm a Nike guy but I haven't tried their socks then, I have only Puma socks and they're great to me, my feet can not wear thin socks, only sports socks, because when you start sweating on a thin sock it's a disaster, your feet got to stay dry
I don't know for socks but sometimes brands are needed like for sneakers, more easy to wear cheap as chest is concerned

Metallica you could pretend because of Beavis and Butthead and for Iron Maiden their covers are great by themselves, worst is when people do like these bands and can't wear it without trouble, I like Iron Maiden but I don't see myself with it

I'm a big metal head and I don't care for Metallica. I even grew up in the 90's when "Enter Sandman" was released. I liked that song but didn't care for anything else by them. However... Maiden, Priest, Ozzy, Dio, etc. man those were tapes I would ruin. Then I obviously listened to the alternative stuff coming out during that time.

everyone else on my team is in DC/Virginia area and it's all they talk about every morning catch up meeting. He said even some restaurants around Leesburg been having to shut down
