When I think I had Resident Evil 2 EU version on N64 (very rare)...
![]()
But if we're not talking about money I do understand why I got rid of it
Frustrating game, used to play it again those days, GameCube's version
And its remake looks great
RE2 was more pixellized on PSX but cinematics and musics were better on it I think...
The fact of being able to choose between 2 characters at the time was a great idea, but I never have played enough to know if it was really different from each perspective...
Resident Evil got great atmospheres but some mecanisms are archaic, all this puzzle game is not always very funny, great thing besides is while you're focusing on enigmas you're less attentive about zombies and this how they create anguish atmosphere
Chrono Trigger is great by it's own right. for me it's Chrono Cross. honestly, it's a toss-up between the two. loved Chrono Cross and possibly finished 9 of the 13 possible ending in the game. 2 main endings and a few side endings. it also has killer soundtrack.Never played Chrono Trigger, heard it was great. Did play Chrono Cross and loved it. Put hours on hours on it.
Dreamcast.
I dunno but remember the time when we PC Master race have to resolve to using emulators back then? it was fun time and the potential for PC gaming as a medium was still in it's infancy. difficult times.I've never had a PSX but from a N64's owner point of view I feel they compensated with marketing and adult themes, but I had a PSP a few years later, and I really had a good time with it...
Dreamcast and Neo Geo are the 2 to own in my opinion, maybe the 2 most "japanese ones", no compromise. And games they no longer make. I'm a PC guy for years because I was tired of buying stuff for having not enough fun and I found FPS games were the better for me, and most of them are on PC so...So I don't really got a nostalgia for consoles but those 2 ones...If I was less lazy I would try to find a way to put my Dreamcast on my PC screen with some HDMI cable or whateverOnly regret is to have only 2 games on it, but I was astonished to find this console a few years back at a garage sale, same day I bought them a Game Gear (which was deceiving), a NES (as I didn't have it) and perhaps other stuff I can't remember...Also get Zelda : Link's Awakening from another person...That was a good day ^^ But as for sneakers it annoys me of having stuff I don't use so mixed feelings. But unlike them I wouldn't want to sell them because it could only take value with time...Best plan would be to have OG consoles in their box and to play on PC to these consoles with maybe even a replica for the look or something and a way of putting pads on it...
To talk frankly, without nostalgia at all, N64 have great games but one of the worst catalogues, once you take away all Nintendo and Rareware games the rest is often garbage...
I very disliked Turok 1 on N64, I only start enjoying Turok playing Turok 2 on PC a very few times ago, but I did stop because labyrinth games like Turok 2 or Resident Evil make me lost interest quite quickly. I prefer how GoldenEye was made, 20 levels, each levels have objectives, they are explained, you don't have to be searching during hours for a little item or something, and you have fun playing it. Again I really started enjoying GoldenEye once I played it on PC. I had it on N64, I loved the game at the time but hated the pad so it couldn't express what the game was able to fully. But with a keyboard and a mouse, that's another story ^^ Same for Duke Nukem, I never loved but I did like it on N64, then playd it on PC, and once you play a FPS you liked or loved on consoles on PC, the console version becoming instantly obsolete. I heard Doom on N64 was great, but the old school FPS that had all my attention was Hexen, unique atmosphere, and then again puzzle, but its universe is so unique in my opinion...I would be glad if it could be remade keeping the spirit but with graphics that don't make eyes bleed...N64 had the best versions of Doom and Duke Nukem outside of PC
And nobody better never bring up a N64 convo around me without bringing up how classic
Turok 1 and 2 is
I’m going to grab one hopefully by years end after o get done with what I have already
I tried to watch Narcos years ago but fell asleep multiple times. Episodes were too long for me. I did watch Narcos Mexico and enjoyed that so maybe I’ll give Narcos another go
I currently own 14 of the consoles posted up there![]()
On a side note, it feels good to recognize each old school song played during the NBA finals. Brings back memories![]()
I got them in storage boxes, G. I only keep one in the house and the rest are in a storage unit. I rotate them when I want to play certain titles. Those consoles and games take up waaaay too much spacePics![]()

FF7 introduced me to the world of rpg. so I would say it's the best one for me as it heavily influenced my preference on playing rpg games and ff series. still bummed that stupid Sony doesn't port the remake game to PC. I'll see it to believe it and enough of the so-called false launches. F-U Sony.
I'm not one or the other but it reminds me high school, a guy of my class made me a remark as with my shaved head and my "style" he thought I looked like a Colombian, so he just said that.Imagine being Colombian and Mexican
