the thread about nothing...

Friday the 13 th : only saw the first one, didn't make me want to see the sequels...
Would you recommend them ?
I think Freddy is my guy, especially Nightmare on Elm Street 3, then 1 and why not 2, but the others, no, thanks
I think the 3rd is really a nice one because this time
there is some resistance for Freddy
My favorite Friday the 13th is Jason takes Manhattan. I’m a fan of the franchise, but I couldn’t see anyone truly enjoying it if they didn’t catch em during the 80s or 90s.

the Dream Warriors was a very nice sequel and to me was the coolest. the idea that they could actually fight Freddy in his realm was a nice twist. while New nightmare was ok on it's own. it didn't give me that same Nightmare vibe to it. the Dream Master and Dream Child for me were good imo. Freddy's Dead to me was very good as well. to be honest, the Nightmare franchise for me seems to be doing good overall as far as story-telling goes. unlike some of these new horror/gore franchise that they are doing nowadays, Conjuring, Annabel, Saw, etc.... that had gone way past their peak.

guilty pleasure, I liked HellRaiser.

for me, it's Jason Lives. it also has that killer track from Alice Cooper.

btw, I love that James Bond intro in the movie.

In Tucker we trust, getting some royal farms this week just cause. 0 trans fat ( or was it Saturated?)

I like Freddy too, but some of them joints were trash. When a slasher movie has too much humor it becomes a comedy, lol. This is the reason I actually favor the most recent Freddy reboot. It was dark, nothing funny about it. I did watch Wes Cravens New Nightmare recently. It was much better than I remember.

I guess that's the reason, it was missing that humor element. anyways, one of the earliest memory I had about Nightmare was the bus on the cliff, the Cherrio box with claws on them and the bath tub scene (oh yeah). Dream Warriors was the wheelchair dude and the one with Freddy with the needle flngers. had some great memories of certain scenes of the Nightmare movies. speaking of, I do liked 13 Ghosts.

😆From Busta Rhymes to Rah Digga
There was some potential with this one. It was missed. It’s a decent watch, though, when there’s nothing else.

There wasn’t much good about that Nightmare reboot either, imo  . At least most of the original sequels had victims you cared about.

not really a fan of the 4th one. for me, it's 1,2,3 and it should have ended that way.

the Prophecy trilogy is also entertaining for me. 1 and 2 were great in my opinion. 3 was ok, could have been better but it seems to lack the appeal of the first 2. I dunno what was missing with the 3rd though. I might give 3 another go. anyway,
