Steak video bothers me because they didn't render the fat on the side of the steak at all. Raw fat is gross. When you start the cook off by holding the steak on its side to allow the fat to cook down you don't need to add oil to the pan and you get a nice crispy band of fat. Win-win.

I don't mind not rendering the fat as long as you cook it susbstantially. I find raw disgusting though. I'm not a wild animal.

When do they do stuff like that? Before the game? Do they have a certain time to do only that TV shoot? Seems like getting thousands of people in an arena just for a TV scene is a lot.

Just got back from a huge couples trip from Jamaica, there were 22 of us in total. We stayed at Sandals South Coast, a lot of couples were meeting for the first time.
All in all everyone got along great so we booked our next trip Barbados 2023.

Not sure. Honestly, the pic from Hangin w/ Mr. Cooper looks like it was from a legit game. Possibly preseason or pregame I'd suspect.
Other times I've noticed this is Modern Family. I think they filmed during a real game for the in crowd shots. Not sure when the shots eith Kobe were filmed. Would be shocked if it wasn't at the same game.
Shaq's episode in Curb was definitely during the offseason. Shaq's hair was never that thick during a season. And when they showed shots of the crowd, you can tell it's a very sparse crowd. But definitely gathered a few hundred people to get that recorded, plus guys to be on the court as the teams.
Lastly I think I remember reading about Ferrell and someone else recording a scene for a movie during halftime of a real game. Dont remember much else about it though. Maybe I can find the article.
Quick google search says the Ferrell film was Daddy's Home but I'm not convinced. Could have sworn thr article i was referencing was no where near as old as Daddy's Home.
