I mean, I dont think she that far off. She doesnt imply you should spend that much on a first date, but being prepared for a night of that expense can only be helpful. Recently took the fam out for dinner and grabbed what I was expecting to spend +100 more. Wife says "dang you think this place finna cost that much." And I reply with the same logic..."nah, but want to be prepared for whatever may be a surprise."

I hate that i think I'm growing out of NT
I'm 33 and been here for 15 years plus, literally half my life, will always have a special place in my heart
But I'm finding myself less and less on this site and it feels like its breaking my heart that I'm an............adult

I actually went back and read through my post history on that forum recently. I used to say a whole lot of nothing. Hell, I still do, just not as frequently.

Just walked 2 miles worth just to get some exercise and lotto tickets. Been taking the smaller streets and admiring people’s homes, some could use my painting skills though.
