the thread about nothing...

The summer of ‘06. Copped these on the morning of the release date at the local mall, got some McDonald’s breakfast at the drive-thru on the way back, finished my breakfast and played some Xbox.

Walked into foot action on RD morning no line or anything. Got a 10 and a 10.5, 10.5 were to hoop in I have Steph Curry ankles two pairs of socks heavy tape and braces, 10s we're to rock. I still have them in the shed somewhere

Serious question: what's an activity or a job that men and women do but women get way more recognition/pay for it? I'm thinking supermodel but I'm sure there's something else.
The answer is no. Even butlers get paid than maids.

EDIT: Maybe Personal Assistant.

I think it’s a false premise - some positions are seen as better filled/more prestigious by a woman - but that’s probably a factor of a misogynistic society.

I doubt they get paid more even if someone would rather employ a woman in the role.

I'm a old head and I don't play video games much. Frankly they are too advanced for me these days, but might have to finally cop a PS4 now that they are putting the ps, P2, and PS3 catalog on the cloud $119 a year is a grip but not that bad compared to price of new games

I too am an "old head". I did not know this. I'm glad I stopped by TAN today lol

I'm sure they still have some Pong game or Pacman around.

Worked in the office at my current job for the first time and it was so refreshing interacting with people in person again. Working from home is convenient and all, but people need social interaction. The other floors of the building being empty including my former job felt strange, like being in a dying mall. It was weird at first, but once everyone got settled in it was very very nice being back.
it depends. in my line of work, not dealing with other people other than co-workers is like being on vacation. you don't want to deal other people outside your circle. either way, I can work with or without people. depending on the office culture and type of work, I'd rather work with machines, you deal with them without any complaints.

I knew there were Sears kit homes you could order back in the day but never knew about government funded steel ones.
