Had another completely random epilepsy seizure today, this is some ********
Got the official epilepsy diagnosis a few weeks ago but I didn’t even know it was possible to randomly develop epilepsy at the age of 28
I’m on meds but I guess I get to be amongst the lucky 30% of people whose seizures don’t fully disappear from anti-epileptics
At least it’s not triggered by flashing, that’d probably suck more than random attacks
In my successful job interview in April, I warned the company that I had 3 seizures the prior 13 months, spread months apart. Since working there, I’ve racked up 6 additional ones, 7 as of now. One of them was at work but luckily it was just fainting out of my chair and twitching for about a minute, without the typical 20 minute aftermath of nonsensical rambling
