The amount of lost pet alerts is high. What's astounding is the expectations or requests made when a lost dog turns up. "Oh no...please keep him safe until someone claims him...bring him inside...provide food and shelter...create flyers to hang around the neighborhood"
If it was a homeless person, they'd call the police. We literally care more about animals than we do people. Wild thing to see in real time.
