I never really make a big deal of my bday. Just another day to me. I don't do anything special, nor ask for gifts. Been that way for the last 12 years or so (I'm 30 now).
The past couple years my best friend always invited me over for a night out with her and/or to chill at her place but if not for that, I probably wouldn't do anything special.
