Nah something ain’t right.. if Blimpie feel off

Wow haven’t had Blimpie in years. Think they got rid of most of the locations here. Always preferred them over Subway.

Subway is the worst!

It’s really bad these days. The local hood spot still the best sub I’ve ever had. They’ve tried to build a Quiznos and Subway right across from it. They all have failed and closed.

If you in Atlanta and not scared of the West End, lol, try New York Subs!!! Going strong dang near 40 years.

Jimmy Johns and Jersey Mike's are pretty bad too

We only have a Subway & Jimmy John's in my city, but if we had those 2 along with Jersey Mike's, Blimpie, and Quiznos...

Give me a local sub shop.

don’t know how old broadie is, so if he is relatively young it maybe makes more sense why he came to the conclusions he did but really he just mashed a bunch of tangential things together…

all the algorithms catering to us aren’t at all about perfection, rather its aggregation; a bunch of people made similar choices such that they get recommended to each other…this is just ‘convenient’ which tends to come with downsides/tradeoffs

the raw vs. perfection thing is just cyclical & is not related to ai & its evolution

the him being critical of himself in terms of drawing or skating, is just things that come with aging/getting older when the concept of failing & the potential consequences are just higher stakes & more real for most adults…he kinda alludes to this by saying something to the effect of ‘the internet’ being grown up now/mature, which could maybe be the main point?

the human condition is to attach & seek meaning, while every generation has it own challenges that shape their thinking, it’s interesting how certain memes & themes keep reoccurring/persist
