I remember 2 weird hybrids of those too. First there was one with a really thin base so they were much easier to move around.
Then there was an attachment for a computer so instead of writing on plastic sheets you could type instead - it was like a clear monitor that you put on the OHP.
They died off quickly as soon as laptops and projectors became more prevalent.
Some principle's brother probably made a killing off every damn school in the US with these in the 90s and now owns an island or something. ****s were probably hella expensive.
