This would’ve been a complete lie and everyone knows it. There was a bipartisan “Border Act of 2024” bill that would’ve given POTUS the power to shut down the border to asylum seekers if it reached a certain threshold, and it also would’ve bolstered the border patrol. Trump torpedoed the bill so he could use the border for his campaign, now he spews lies about the previous administration allowing illegals in when he was the spearhead that stopped the resolution.

1. Low information voters would've bought it.

2. The boarder was in chaos well before the boarder bill and after it failed Biden issued executive orders that effectivly closed the boarder.

He could've done the entire time. It was a huge mistake. Kamala should have said that on the view. All of that is true. But she should lie and say she always disagreed with Biden on immigration.
