I remember EXACTLY where was at the first time I heard this song. We was on I-10 east just west of Mobile, AL coming back from San Diego who didn't have a dedicated hip hop station at the time, so we thought we was out of the loop(turns out we really wasn't). As soon as I heard, "Its Bone and Biggie Biggie.." I was in the back seat of the Maxima like..

Crazy they didn't have a dedicated hip hop station even in 1997 😲

I first heard it when I was coming out of p.e. class in 10th grade. Had to wait for the bell ring and my classmate was next to me bumping his CD Walkman and let me listen to it. I remember looking down at my blue toe Reebok Questions and swayed side to side  8)

Yea...It was different out there. I loved it tho. Would move back. They had a radio station that played pop/dance music during the day and sprinkle in some hip-hop at night. I appreciated it tho. It helped broadened my horizons. I think thats why I like electronic music now.

Funny story: We had been living in Chula Vista a few months when Selena died. For me it was just a Friday. I walked to school so I didn't see or hear any news. I get to school everybody crying and ****. I'm like what is going on? This girl told me Selena died, I said, "Oh.........who is Selena?" Everyone knew by then, so it was more of a funny moment. They was like, "You know...'I Could Fall in Love'..". I said, "Oh I thought that was Celine Dion. "

tr1ll tr1ll , by electronic music you mean deep house or house music? I remember Power 106 here in LA would play that stuff since it hit big among my Latinos. They played everything from r&b, rap, hip hop, house music and threw in some 70s-80s too.
Oh wow, I'm shocked you didn't hear of her sooner. 14 year old me would drool over her when my mom and sis would watch her music appearances.
