This new epilepsy treatment the hospital neurologists gave me is wild
On top of the max dosage of Keppra, I now have to add Vimpat and Gabapentin to that.
“May cause heavy side effects initially”
Bruh it’s week two, time for a scheduled dosage increase of both of those new medications and I can barely open my left eye from drowsiness. My legs feel like every movement is a heavy lift but worst of all, my memory is all messed up.
Had a call with a friend this morning and I don’t even remember having the call. Earlier this afternoon she texted to ask if I was high during the call and I’m like huh, what call? I don’t remember the call or anything I said at all.
I don’t even recall some of my most recent NT posts from yesterday on here either but it’s good to know I’m not going on an unhinged rambling spree without my knowledge
The memory issues appear to be linked to the Vimpat medication but my schedule has another few dosage increases in the coming weeks. This **** better fix itself.
I guess at least I haven’t had a seizure in a while
