i get it tho, it preempts unwanted attention…women want the guys they are attracted to approach, the whole thing would be so much easier if women (in general) today actually had a lil bit of game
instead because the messaging via social media & in casual conversation w/women has been so loud about men being creepy that a lot of dudes are off that & rather play russian roulette w/the apps…this isn’t really that much of a problem for attractive folk but since most people fall into that average margin +/- 1 or 2 points it’s a lot frustration outchea

it does & doesn’t…everything is context dependent, maybe especially w/the womenfolk…it’s not that they ‘hate’ either it’s the circumstance…the why, who, where, what, & how
i think one thing folk really don’t appreciate is how, for the overwhelming majority of humanity, perilous & weird it would have been to approach/be approached by complete strangers
our innate hardwiring hasn’t really changed…we just have much higher trust these times

I wouldn't go up to women in just the middle of the day or something. I'm just an average looking dude and haven't really had such negative reactions on nights out. Obviously plenty of rejections but nothing really in a 'ew don't approach me' kind of way. I feel like most people don't want to be bothered in the middle of the day while they're busy.
Everyone knows or should know that bars, nightclubs, ... come with the expectation of flirting, getting eachother's number, asking eachother out etc.
