Once it’s sent, it’s sent. Gotta go to the police and your bank and hope for the best. This scam has been going on for YEARS and you should never hand your phone over. But some people are still green. Dude probably told her their phone was dead so can’t pull up the payment QR code and it’d be easier if they just typed in their info for her… Women and white folk looking out of place are the prime targetsnever used cash app heavy like that, can you not cancel/dispute transactions?
seems suspect, who gives a complete stranger in 2025 w/their unlocked phone to send themselves your money, in an urban metropolis like atl? especially given the supposed stigma of scam culture & the yns of atlanta
