the gym that’s nearest to me recently remodeled & removed the bball court but kept the unnecessarily large number of cardio machines probably just for this time of the year

The 24hr Fitness I go to also just removed the bball court a couple of months ago. Was wondering what that was about?

i didn’t believe it at 1st because they put a sign up saying the court was closed for cleaning (court was usually super dusty & it was rare that they got around to hitting it w/that dust mop) so i asked when it was going to be open again the staff associate kinda said it unsurely as an offhand thing, ‘oh i think they are getting rid of it’

eventually one of other staff explained that because at the time it was one of the few 24hr fitness in the area that was actually open for 24hrs & pretty busy during peak hrs the management team thought the hoop court was an inefficient use of space…it’s funny because the new layout w/o the court is just as smushed now, they definitely could have kept the court the court probably was more of liability but i’m still salty about not being able to put shots up on a late night ting

I remember a while back I went to six flags and when the park closed I headed to the parking lot and got in my car.

Suddenly, a verbal altercation happened between a couple. She started screaming at him, telling him he’ crazy, and so on and so forth. He just responded calmly, and said he was chillin.’ But she wouldn’t cool down. He stayed composed though, and refused to yell back
