I think I said this before because I really looked into it. I SOUNDS like a good idea but a lot of these older cars wouldn’t meet current CAFE and saftey requirements thus needing to be updated in order to be sold, leading to it not act being the car you remember. Tbh if you’re really down to buy a “retroed” car, just buy a beat up one and get it restored, you gonna end up paying the same amount. With today’s prices, you probably gonna come out a lot cheaper restoring a car. They damn sure not going to sell them at period correct prices.
