It’s still a whole townhouse with a living room, kitchen and backyard vs a hotel room. A decent hotel is north of 300+/night plus valet and parking that’s not free. If the prices are comparable the townhouse still has more on demand amenities plus the seclusion that you won’t get at a hotel. I stayed at the crystal city Marriott outside DC during Christmas and the walls were paper thin, you could hear every time your neighbors coughed, the toilets flushing or tv that was up too loud. We were only there from like midnight to 10am most days but it wasn’t worth it. AirBnB/Vrbo over a hotel every time even if I gotta break some extra bread. The hotel model only serves business travelers and one night stands, it’s trash for vacationing or family trips.
