Anyone here ever have your confidence mistaken for cockiness?
I think it's due to other peoples insecurities at work, I presented something and this lady said I came off as cocky, I am never admit to say I am wrong and I also said on the call I am not an expert on the very topic I was presenting on lol....I was legit confused.
I think when you are extremely comfortable in your own skin, it can be intimidating to people

I had that as criticism on a talk I gave once - something like "the presenter came across very confident in his knowledge on the subject".
Duh, I'm the world's expert on the topic - and that's why I was asked to give the talk!
There is a fine line though - in certain environments you need to dial it back a little to avoiding offending people.
