Binging Locked Up Aboard and it’s racking my brain how quick these people are to smuggle drugs/gold instead of talking to their family’s when they need help.

1 woman instead of contacting her family for a trip home to the UK from Thailand, decides to hide 67 grams of hard H in her no no spot to Tokyo then she can go home. Got caught at the airport and was absolutely flabbergasted that she was caught and also that dude who had her smuggling wanted nothing to do with her at that point.

Some are legit wtf moments (kidnapped on your last day of vacation, taken hostage from a resort, murderer/rapist breaking into home and holding family hostage) and it’s just wrong place, wrong time. But for the ones who actively know they’re smuggling, you can’t have any sympathy for them or what they go through.
