Used to stay at a place where I was on the "2nd floor" with thr building's laundry room under me. That laundry room had a separate room attached that was just an empty space.
We must have stayed at that place for 4 or 5 years...never had issues, except for one random night 4 or so years into living there, keep hearing this loud as banging sound every 5 mins. I go into that laundry space, dont see anything, go back up stairs. Immediately hear the banging again. Go back down there, try to open the door to that extra room and its not moving. I bang hard as **** on the door to that room, shrug my shoulders and walk outside. As im outside, this guy and girl come running out of there. Had never seen them before. Go back inside, that separate room is now open and I see a make shift cot.
I felt like a POS. I was disturbed, yes, but I wasn't trying to remove them from the shelter they found...just keep the ******* noise down.
Never had that happen again at that place.
