the thread about nothing...

i was in the uffizi from the opening until the closing. I was great at the end because I had the museum to myself basically. i need to edit this photo more but walking through those galleries with hardly anyone in the room was better than i could have imagined :lol

was the tour expensive? I visited by myself and made the diligence to prepare for long days in the museum because I did not want to be on someone's schedule. as a history and art buff I can see where the jealousy comes from, my eyes dazzled in amazement.

I can't find the receipt but I don't remember it being bad - we booked a group tour which was for up to 12 - something like 20 euros each. It was in September and when we got there it was just us - so we got a personal tour. The only problem with that was that it was very intense - the guide was good but kept asking us questions, and they weren't rhetorical, she wanted us to discuss the paintings critically! "Yeah, that one is nice" wasn't enough for her - she need some analysis.

Idk how y’all do it with weather above 86 degrees Fahrenheit man, let alone 95.
I’d rather tear my other quad than 2 more days of this.

Note how it says the average weather this time would normally be around 21 Celsius/70 Fahrenheit
We’re not built for this

do not get me wrong, i somtimes believe these tour can worth your money but i just see the point. i really dislike being pressured into time schedules while traveling because in my opinion it defeats the essence of traveling :lol

that sounds strange haha was the tour guide italian? i saw many tour guides throughout europe and they are yelling and also stressed out. from what i have seen as well, they are upset when someone does not tip them haha
