Storm came through the area yesterday and knocked out my internet, 12 hours later and Verizon still isn’t showing an eta on when it’ll be fixed :smh:
Stay safe fam. Some guy in the city where I live died last week when there was a crazy windy and rainy storm. A tree fell on him while riding his bike and now the biggest park in the city is closed 😬

That’s wild. It was just heavy rain and thunder, nothing crazy at all. Pissed my internet of all things gets knocked out

That is **** though. You'll just have to revert to the days before internet haha

Any word and how long it will be up and running? I would think it's the whole block that is out of luck also?

Verizon came out and got it taken care of.

Apparently whoever came out last time my internet was messed up didn’t do what they were supposed to and my outside box was completely soaked/dead from the storm. Guy finished the repairs in less than 30 mins :nthat:

Went to go see The Oddyssey yesterday with some of the fellow patients here. Well worth the watch, didn’t feel like 3 hours at all.

Kinda surprised how much it actually stuck to the real story. The Cyclops thing is pretty different from what I remember but all the events actually do happen more or less as I remember it from highschool. The original story was part of my Latin class and later in Cultural Sciences as well.

You can tell it’s the “Gentse Feesten” (Ghent Festivities) though, basically 2 weeks of 24/7 events and partying in Ghent.
We got tickets for the 8:15pm showing due to our curfew but the venue was literally empty.
I think there were maybe 5 other people aside from us. The 2pm showing on the other hand was completely sold out.
