The TV thread: What tv do you own/want?

I recently started working at hh gregg (electronic store) and I've come across some veeery nice tv's. I've also gained a bit of knowledge that I was previously clueless about (hertz and refresh rate; difference between led/plasma/lcd etc).

Of all the brands we carry, Samsung appears to have the highest quality. I definitely plan to buy a new one while im working there, i doubt if I will get a tv with all the bells and whistles (smart tv/3d etc). Who knows, i may end up copping the best tv we carry (samsung 8000, the rolls royce of tv's).

Right now I'm working with a 32" dynex, which will end up in my room once I upgrade.

I gotta agree with op. Those new Samsungs without a doubt in my mind have the best picture quality I've seen. I had to do a double take when i was in the store and walked past one. Dont know what model it was , but it was thin as ***** and silver. Out of my price price-wise right now though.


I have the 73 in Mitsubishi WD-73740 like this View media item 288050 I recently replaced my dlp chip, had my screen looking like deep space, because the mirrors were malfunctioning/

That 73" mitsubishi was my first sale last week. I think it was 835 with tax.
