The novel centers on (via Amazon) a woman (Kidman) who is living the only life she ever wanted for herself. She’s a successful therapist on the brink of publishing her first book, has a devoted husband and young son who attends an elite private school in New York City.
Weeks before her book is published, a chasm opens in her life: a violent death, a missing husband, and, in the place of a man Grace thought she knew, only a chain of terrible revelations. Left behind in the wake of a spreading and very public disaster, and horrified by how she has failed to heed her own advice, Grace must dismantle one life and create another for her child and herself.

Hugh Grant got the wild guilty face. Fam's next role should be as a killer cuz he got the look right now.

Kidman's character definitely hiding something. She's believable that she didn't know about her husband and the affair and stalking/firing but I still feel like it could be revealed she killed the girl for other reasons like they were having an affair.

Couldn't believe he was at the door, forced his way in, touched the kid talking about he's still my patient, claimed he was innocent, and then held the baby. Just to go on tv and say he loved the chick he was having an affair with.
