The Walking Dead - Official Thread

I'm sayin :lol They can still rip your body apart. Them things is strong.

Ehh. They were dressed in full Swat / Riot gear. I saw gloves and armor. Doubt the gloves are thin, it would be like turning your fingers into a rounded nub like the end of a baseball bat. No nails anymore, try cutting through someone with that. Also, they're probably not as flexible (not as easy to move around) as they are with raggy clothing.

The walkers in riot gear are a problem because if enough of them attack you at once they are not as easy to kill as walkers in the raggy clothing and once all those walkers are on you all it takes is one walker w/o the riot gear to bite you.

i thought she kept those two zombies with her because shes using them like bloodhounds to track the living.. and she can use them as a shield to cover herself up with the zombie scent..
They can't attack her cause they have their lower jaw removed and arms amputated.

I also noticed that they are carrying her stuff for her. Pretty sure in the one scene, they had backpacks on..

I've been watching TWD since day 1 and I must say the 1st episode of season 3 was awesome. Seeing them body armored zombies reminded me of some Resident Evil ish and that scene when Rick had to chop off the triple OG's leg was
sick.gif
I'm anxious to see the next episode now since there are other survivors in the prison.

It was a solid episode. The gore was normal, but went over the top with the amputation.
As stated many times already, the writing stuck out again for not so good reasons. Why is it now that scratches are being emphasized? I digress.
How is the amputation over the top when they have walkers chewing off peoples calf muscles?

The gore shown during the amputation was over the top. Read.

Someone getting their legged chopped up with a hatchet =/= a zombie biting your calf muscle.

Yea, that was just really sloppily edited and paced. It turned into a joke halfway through.

lmfao at carl looking like kate upton
daryl better not die...

Carol. Carol.
She might as well be a dude though. ***** look like Littlefinger.

this is correct

one is her boyfriend or ex and the other is a friend

I thought there was a comic book thread to stop all of ^

I thought I stopped caring about this show too...smh.

I knew it. I don't want to know anymore.
I'm assuming that she's related to those zombies or something.

On another note:
I was slightly mind blown that the black dude that was boarded up in his house with his kid is actually british.
I watched Snatch and he was in it.

The actor that plays Rick is full British too. Mindblown when I found out; other than him speaking a bit slow at times to sound the syllables out correctly, you can't tell at all.

most of the stuff thats being said in this thread hasnt really spoiled any thing

all of this info has been stated since season 2 ended or on the Walking Dead after show "The Talking Dead".....the other info is coming from a trailer that we all seen and watched more then once

there is soooo much more info in the comics that hasnt been said in this thread!

you will see once they introduce "The Governor" & his community

question....i think in season 1 they completely covered themselves so they wouldn't get blood of zombies on themselves

then on the premiere, or just overall lately - they don't care about blood being all over themselves? they be kissing each other with blood on their faces :x:rolleyes

do we know what happened to that guy and his kid yet?

read the comics if wanna know what happens to em

if not im sure they will explain in this season or next

but they may twist it up a little
I would like to see them show up at the end of this season or next

The way things have been going I don't think they'll be following the comics detail for detail anymore. There's a lot of killing this character in the comics and keeping one that died just to have them play the role or put them in a situation that a character in the comics went through. Not to mention the characters that haven't shown up yet or won't at all.

In season 2 Rick and I think Glenn cover themselves in zombie blood to go incognito when surrounded by dozens of them. They stopped being worried about zombie blood when only Rick was told they were all infected.

You mean season 1.

It was so long ago that I don't remember fully but.

- she use them as mules to carry stuff
- as warning for other zombies because apparently they can sense it or something to that extent
- scent for when she travels
- her brother and boyfriend

i wish people would keep the comics out of the thread. :rolleyes

let the t.v. be t.v. if we havent learned anything yet, let the show teach us.

thats cool they figured out how to survive bites now. :smokin

Really? You guys are complaining about who 2 zombies are? Really?! That's not a ******g spoiler.

its ******g stupid b. no one said it was a spoiler.

it's like sitting in a movie and asking why something happens?

and someone who read the book gives you the full rundown, meanwhile

the director explains it no less than 20 minutes later. let the mystery be mystery. you don't think people / the director knows people are wondering who and why she holding on to two zombies as pets? :rolleyes
