calling Morgan soft.
He's trying to find reason in a world that now lacks it.
He sees the way Carol and Rick conduct business and it just doesn't make sense. Carol and Rick are not just killing walkers, their killing live human beings, with no trial and no jury. Morgan is probably wrapping his head around the fact that they are playing God. That at any moment he will be ousted.
Bunch of simpletons, MLK would be ashamed.
That's the rub. The world does not have reason anymore, so why stand alone trying to bring some?
Dudes were running around with machetes hacking people up in their neighborhood. He wanted to tie dude up with some shoelaces.
It's one thing to have a bad apple or two, it's quite another to have a crazed group mass murdering your community, and you wanna poke their ribs with your broom stick.
It sucks, but that is the world. Rick has shown restraint, the last episode he didn't kill the guy when he had him on his knees. He knew harmless versus harmful.
You think Rick is lettin the Wolves off with a warning? No, he's deadin folk, and protecting what little civilization they have left.
The old world is gone. Laws, rules, regulators, documents, everything, all gone. It's back to the old days of Rome and what not. Kill or be killed. The wolves had every chance to knock on the door, and ask to be accepted just like Rick's group did. They could have rejoined mankind. That ain't what they did. They came in to murder the entire community.
And Morgan tryna slap wrists & ****.
I didn't even need to get into the fact that it was his move that allowed these wolves to live, survive, and eventually find Alexandria and kill all those people. He wasn't linked up with anyone at that point, no way for him to know the harm they could cause, so we'll let that one slide. But he was there this time, watchin them chop bodies like nothin. And he wanted to be rational about it. Bunch of women and children in their fighting for their lives, and he wanted to "calm" people down.
