It was ill imo. Everyome has their personal preferences. The special affects and make-up were done properly. No over-the-top, unbelievable crap. On a scale of 1-10, Its like 7.5.

I didn't think it was all that bad personally. It also helped that everyone on NT blasted it so I had  0 exspectations for this film. I also give it a 7.5 or 8

Please do yourself a favor and do not see this.  The movie had something of a kitschy beginning, and was unintentionally funny during many scenes.  I actually fell asleep during a slow stretch in the middle, and the ending was rather predictable and anti-climatic.  If I were you, I would just wait for Shuttered Island with DiCaprio in it to come out, if you really want to go out and see a good movie.
