"The Wrestler" MORE than lived up to expectations....

I liked this movie more than MILK and I thought Rourke did a better job portraying that character and bringing the emotions to life more than Penn did.

The Wrestler was good but I thought the story was somewhat predictable.

This was an amazing movie

I still feel that Rourke deserved that Oscar more. Did the WWE hurt his chances of winning?

This movie was great. As the movie progressed, I genuinely felt bad for Randy.

I could agree for Rourke, but how is it for Tomei?

Good movie, watched it two weeks ago and was impressed. As a wrestling fan of 20 years (more casual now than hardcore as WWE is just eh) I must say the movietold a great story of what can and does happen to many wrestlers. IMO there are more "Randy the Ram's" than there are Dwayne Johnson's("The Rock"). I do not know how true it is, but many have made the leap in saying the character of RTR was based on Greg "The Hammer"Valentine.
