gonna be weird. but some are completely ok being quarantined for a long time, some aren't. I understand both sides. with talks of a dreaded second wave coming, I'm lost.

I wonder if LeBron has really thought through what it would be like to play in an isolated setting - the way that Mike Trout obviously has.
Living in a hotel for months, away from family, just playing games and then sitting around in a closed down Disney World when not playing or practicing. That really worth it to finish this season at a neutral site with no fans? The team that wins not going to be able to have a parade? IDK...

if basketball resumes, interesting to see how motivated some guys are, especially those that are completely out of the playoffs. are some players going to just shut it down for next season, how long will they take to get back into game shape, etc

Starting to feel like a it's either a shortened playoffs in a bubble (Disney world?) with players being kept from the outside world for a few weeks or bust.
The English Premier league has been floating the same kind of idea of finishing the season in a bubble behind closed doors with players separated and being tested regularly for a month but they haven't gotten past the theoretical stage yet cause there's no consensus yet. There's been more pushback from some bigger teams and players while the smaller,less rich teams don't wanna miss out on all that TV revenue they need to survive and I'd imagine it'd be the same considerations for your average players not making crazy bank.
Really isn't as cut and dry as it's often presented, any decision won't be popular with everyone and will have to take everything into account short and long term.
I don't envy the job these leagues have on their hands rn
