Thinking About Getting A Vasectomy...

Had a terrible pregnancy scare w/ my girl this last week
It was so hard to dead $** suggest an abortion

I never wanna have to do that again

I'm 18, and it seems extreme, but I would love to never have to worry about it until I actually want kids

Any thoughts?

Don't do it! Especially at 18. Vasectomies aren't always reversible. Plus most Urologists wouldn't do it on an 18 year old anyway.

Don't do it! Especially at 18. Vasectomies aren't always reversible. Plus most Urologists wouldn't do it on an 18 year old anyway.

It really would be nice though, I don't use condoms and the scares are an awful feeling

i also looked into it. they say everything is the same, just dead kids that come out (thats the best way i could say w/o getting banned haha) the 2 negatives made me say no: 1. may not be reversible, and if it is reversible it is a painful operation to reverse it. 2. using frozen sperm is hard to get a chick prego. alot of the sperm dies too when in a sperm bank

I would just wait if I were you. One of my freshmen basketball coaches got it but he was divorced and already had 2 kids. Used to always have a 2-liter Mountain Dew by his side too

The two risks w/ sex are std's and getting a girl pregnant

You never know where you'll end up in life. Right now you may not want kids but who knows down the line. I thought I had my life planned when I was 18 but 8 short years later a lot of my views have done a complete 180.
