THIS FLOP...

did he really need to fall down though?

A Tech should be issued. Still the biggest issue in basketball is the fools who attempt charges on EVERYTHING. especially on a 2-1 break and they make no attempts on the ball whatsoever.

DYING!

OP video , dude had to process it for a split second and decide whether he wanted to embelish it

When I read the title, I was so sure that game I watched here in the Philippines will be it.

Seeing it live on TV made it a worthwhile experience. SMH Mr. Pennisi. Lol.

You sound dumb & prolly never played organized ball before...

If i'm out numbered on a defensive fast break you saying I should just swipe at the ball all reckless?

Flopping is a disgrace to the game. Matter of fact, I have been annoyed for years over the whole "drawing a charge" instead of playing defense. I hate it with a passion.

Instead of jumping up and trying to defend the play, I'm just gonna stand here and let you run me over, and hope I get the call.

How many charges are called in a street ball game?  None.  Cause it's wack.

You play defense.

But instead you just stop 3 feet in front of a man that is running full speed, let him run you over, and then hope the ref bails you out.

Your argument is null & void player...
30t6p3b.gif

You compared a playground game to the NBA
indifferent.gif

Taking a charge has always been a part of the game, at least before any of us started playing to what are you saying? Holding your ground while i giant dude barrels at you out of control IS PLAYING DEFENSE...
30t6p3b.gif
Especially if your out numbered or outsized... I'm 5'9 i'm posed to try and block a PF shot on a fast break? Stop it 5

I can tell you aint play no ball either, ole 2k playing dudes
30t6p3b.gif

Now flopping on OFFENSE?? Is an epidemic that must be stopped...

Ok, so just get run over and let the ref bail you out?

It's one thing if the offensive player just straight runs you over, that is a foul.   However, it's a totally different thing when you just jump in front of him at the last minute and he runs you over.  That's a cornball move PERIOD.  Son, I been playing ball since I was 5, and I'm 30.  I know what I'm talking about.  I try to play defense, and if I foul, then I foul, but at least I tried.  You never know what is going to happen.  I can't count how many times I played D on a 2 on 1 fastbreak, defended the play, they missed, and I ended up with the rebound.  You know what else, I'm 6'1 and I NEVER took a charge a day in my life.  I leave that to people like you.

In summation...

>Some clown in Florida runs his local playground without EVER taking a charge

>Charges ruin the integrity of the game
>Abolish charges in the NBA
>Logic

at Reggie Millers lame @@@ talking about "you gotta sell it" shut up. I'm glad you never won a ring. This is a disgrace to the game. Chris Paul, Mo Williams, Chancy Billups, yes, I'm talking to you.
Not to pick on you, but are you serious dude? What about your beloved Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol?

They exaggerate contact and I hate when they do it, but it's never to the extent that they're laying on the floor as if they've just been attacked when they weren't even touched at all. Like Bosh. I wonder if he was faking when he collapsed to the floor after the Finals loss. Son is on Denzel status.

This "organized ball" argument is funny
laugh.gif
Honestly, in all the organized basketball that I've played, I never took a charge on a fast break because if the people you're playing against aren't scrubs, they're not looking to charge you if you're just standing stationary. If you're backpedaling, they'll just wait until you commit yourself to them (the ball handler) and then when you stop for the block or to draw a charge, they pass it to the other man. If you're on a 2-1 break and you turn the ball over, you're just an idiot. Not to mention, if you're in a league with athletes, if you stand there stationary there's a good chance you're getting posterized and refs rarely call a charge when you just got jammed on.

I think homeboy did that in order to avoid getting punched in the face. Dude who threw the ball at him was ready to throw hands.

Different situations call for different things... I don't really care what you would to on a 2 on 1 homie.
My point is its a part of the game, always has been... Its a defensive strategy. Now flopping & screaming on offense i agree, very clownish behavior.

I'd say homeboy bringing up his playground game to 21 is much more of a joke.
