My point is its a part of the game, always has been... Its a defensive strategy. Now flopping & screaming on offense i agree, very clownish behavior.

I'd say homeboy bringing up his playground game to 21 is much more of a joke.
Only the first game is 21.

Every other game is to 15.

Taking a charge has always been a part of the game, at least before any of us started playing to what are you saying? Holding your ground while i giant dude barrels at you out of control IS PLAYING DEFENSE...

Especially if your out numbered or outsized... I'm 5'9 i'm posed to try and block a PF shot on a fast break? Stop it 5

I can tell you aint play no ball either, ole 2k playing dudes

Now flopping on OFFENSE?? Is an epidemic that must be stopped...
Ok, so just get run over and let the ref bail you out?

It's one thing if the offensive player just straight runs you over, that is a foul.   However, it's a totally different thing when you just jump in front of him at the last minute and he runs you over.  That's a cornball move PERIOD.  Son, I been playing ball since I was 5, and I'm 30.  I know what I'm talking about.  I try to play defense, and if I foul, then I foul, but at least I tried.  You never know what is going to happen.  I can't count how many times I played D on a 2 on 1 fastbreak, defended the play, they missed, and I ended up with the rebound.  You know what else, I'm 6'1 and I NEVER took a charge a day in my life.  I leave that to people like you.

You both made valid points, and streetball is different than NBA ball. In streetball, you rarely hear someone call charge. But there is two ways of defending the play, either take a charge or you can attempt on making a defensive play. As for me personally, I defended a 2 on 1 fastbreak many times and I always try to make a play on the ball (resulting on never taking a charge), sometimes they can miss if I guess correctly and I get the rebound and I am 5'10" and 31 years old with quick hands and quick feet. The reason I never took a charge because, I was never really in position of taking a charge, but if I had to, I will not hesitate on taking one.

at Reggie Millers lame @@@ talking about "you gotta sell it" shut up. I'm glad you never won a ring. This is a disgrace to the game. Chris Paul, Mo Williams, Chancy Billups, yes, I'm talking to you.

How are you going to only mention Clipper guards and not mention the king of flopping guards Derek Fisher?

hate when Chris Paul does it.

His flop with Bass when they played the Celtics the other day made me straight yell at the TV for a second.

I can't even laugh at these, its becoming an epidemic and makes me cringe. Really difficult to watch these soft players flop left and right and just not play hard nosed basketball....play some defense and man up.

the bosh one still takes the cake. Flopping at it's finest. His *%%%##% should have got a tech for that

Agreed. I don't find it funny. It hurts the integrity of the game.

Funny flop from OP. Not sure why you all are upset that is way too funny to get mad about. And flopping is not ruining the game. Stop. My favorite flops ever.
