Seems so after the Oracle DiMarzio confirmed it...

And this

:evil:Happy with this. We'll look a lot better this year when we're playing 4-3-3. Pogba is going to have a monster year.

100%. Lowkey a great fee for him in this market ,same price Higuain was sold for

James Ducker from the Telegraph says that Mou would prefer Bale over Perisic but that it all hangs on Real signing Mbappe. Definitely think dude would be more open to a move if that happened given how he's fallen down the pecking order and Mbappe's arrival would cement that even further. The writings been on the wall after Isco took his spot

Was a 100% on this the last couple of summers too. Him being 28 and made of glass has me questioning it now. If he does stay the pressure on him will be immense with Mbappe, Asensio, and Isco all on the bench.

Matic signing is cool. I just wish Mou didn't go for a player he's worked with before. Kind of takes away from the "He's a great coach" aspect of his game.

^ lol wut?

I'm fine with the Matic signing. We needed a CDM and he's proven he can play in that role for a twice title-winning team. I don't mind him being older at 28 either, he should be in his prime for this year and be solid for a few more years, giving us time to develop someone like Fosu-Mensah to take over the spot at some point.

As far as Bale to United... I don't foresee it happening, but at £80M I'd be entirely in favor. Kinda like Neymar being worth the huge fee from a publicity and marketing standpoint, Bale would be worth that money to be back in the UK, not to mention his actual footballing ability being extremely dynamic (when healthy).

So... Matic means Fellaini is gone?

That was a class ball by Ozil. They gotta finish those

United fam, would y'all have Bale in our team at £80m?

Heck yea. I think that would a good price in today's market. He didn't look to "interested" in the Miami Classico tho, but I guess it's only preseason.

I'm very happy with the Matic signing. Proven player in the league, played under Mou before and did well, and most importantly........No FROllani on the pitch. :emoji_fingers_crossed:

I don't like the idea of selling Matic to Man U. I still haven't got over the Mata thing. I'm really disappointed in Matic. He wanted to leave last summer. Conte pressured him to stay. Matic didn't do his job well under Conte. The money for Matic is too good to pass. 50 mill pound on Matic?! I'll take it easily. People forget that he didn't play well in the last two seasons. I wanted to keep him until we find a solid replacement

Judging from his play Hakimi looks good enough to stay. But I still wouldn't be opposed to letting him go on loan to Alaves to start for an entire season in the top flight.

Only thing is that I don't trust our depth at the back with injuries.

Wonder what they'll decide is the best move.

So which one is it?

Not happy about selling him to United yet you're disappointed in him for wanting out since last year and losing form but also happy with the money you guys'll get at the same time?

I'm surprised the blues decided on selling him to Mou despite the reported Juve interest in him, they probably weren't willing to drop as much. It's funny how BBC is using the combined fee with add ons included in their Matic posts when they usually make a point of using the official base fee in most other cases

When Matic is on he's a wall. When he's off you might think he's Fellaini with a haircut.

He does have a bit more all around ability than given credit for but you still want to have someone to be the primary creator or handle transition of the ball in the midfield. He's a plodder too and he does not get off the ground at all. But he'll be a solid rotational guy.

The Love is real i guess.........:emoji_thinking:

I really don't see why, or get how Mou rates this man so highly. I'm done.

Dude really must be the GOAT teammate/locker room presence for 3 consecutive managers to ride and die for him

The exit rumors were cool but I can't help but feel like Mou's gonna give him a lengthy extension soon...

This is what makes me a fan of the move,he won't be asked to do too much and nothing he's not comfortable3 with. He'll have a clearly defined role at the back of the MF and will allow Pogba and Ander to be freed up and help out more moving forward in the attack without sacrificing the defensive stability in the MF. Him and Carrick rotating at DM during the season sounds solid imo.

Fellaini is banging someone's daughter.

Someone's gotta be getting the Fro in that front office. Dude is safer than Rooney was

Fellaini is a bit of a laughing stock here in Belgium. I wouldn't say in a real hateful way. A loveable idiot would perhaps be the best description. Rather than strong criticism people just seem to laugh and make jokes when he's struggling. He's probably one of our worst national team players but I like the guy. Despite his reputation as a laughing stock and all the hate he receives he always puts in the effort. Having him in the national team can lighten up the mood when we're struggling far below expectations.

This is crazy to me cuz I've seen fro carry your NT several times. Pops up outta no where to score whenever you really need it. Would figure he would be more highly rated

15 goals in 75 appearances isn't bad imo

On matic : think him and kante kind of got in each other's way at times last yr and yet their partnership was good. Don't see that problem at united.
