My relationship with the US national team has been a troubled one for a few years now. From the coaching staff, to the mediocre players (dont kill me @NorthOaklandFC) to the weak tactics. This past election cycle didn't help my feelings on the matter either, but I will still be rooting for the USMNT. I might not like Bruce Arena, and I'm not to crazy about a lot of our fans, but I will always support the team.

**** Geoff Cameron though

Lex Luthor is a real one for speaking up

Bro I'm the first to admit that the USMNT player pool is defined by mediocre individual talent. That view is at the crux of my stance challenging opinions that say the players are complete ****, and fans who loath the team for not being a top ten team in the world. :lol

I don't think I could ever turn my back on the USMNT. I've been jaded for years, my support of the USMNT has always been very hypocritical.

But in a lot of ways the USMNT doesn't represent America the country for me. It certainly doesn't represent the American government or aggregate American society.

For me the USMNT represents specific American communities, specific personal experiences, and specific parts of my life as a player and fan, way more than it could ever represent the flag.

LMFAO at this Wenger nob. Dude said wages was what stopped him from getting Kante. Last year it was he didn't think Kante was ready to come to England, now it s wages. Kante is only on 110,00 a week. That's hardly a crazy wage these days. Arsenal have one of the biggest stadiums in England, the most expensive tickets, no debt but they still act like they are a broke club. enough is enough old man. Your team in club footy has to come to an end.

Arsenal missed out on signing Chelsea's N'Golo Kante TWICE, says Arsene Wenger... [emoji]128580[/emoji]http://es.pn/2kwvXSM

And when asked if he had been interested in signing Kante, Wenger said: "Yes. When he was in France [and] when he was at Leicester."

But Wenger would not say whether it was money or another issue that got in the way.

"There again, I cannot explain everything but it is quite obvious when you look where he has gone," Wenger said.

I believe it was part of SFCs reaction to Trump being elected I don't blame him at all.

Personally the election soured me on everything related to the USA as well. The point I'm at now is that I don't support the badge or the USA but the name on the back of the shirt. I've followed a lot of these players closely and have that connection to them to see them do well.

Until they say something to sour me on them like Cameron but I've always added people to the **** you list for racism or defending bigotry before the election
Ya man, I was in that boat for awhile. Hell, I still haven't rocked anything USA related since the election tbh.

but I'm not just gonna turn my back on my country and let fascism, bigotry, or Trump win the day. IMHO, that's the same as letting the terrorists win with their fear ruling the idiot Americans who support the Muslim ban, or believing building a wall to block off our neighbors to the south is a solution to anything.

Naw man, **** that. I'm not going to bend over and let that **** take over the country I have grown to love.

I'm gonna stick around and fight back the fascism, bigotry, and autocracy that's taking place before our eyes.
I agree i'm personally not leaving cause the blood of my ancestors built this country and it wouldn't be where it is today without the evil of chattel slavery and abuse of my people for profit and a sense of superiority, i'll stay and fight for whats mine. But I don't blame people who do want to leave it's understandable. But as far as any symbolism like the red white and blue or even the US Soccer crest I don't feel right wearing proudly right now. The symbolism of this country has to earn my respect it doesn't have my undying allegiance despite how many times they had us repeat that pledge in school

I would have preferred Kante over Xhaka or Lucas

His 1 good signing as of late has been Mustafi

Elneny has been pretty meh

Holding can't crack the first team, should have just kept Chambers

Lucas can't crack the first team

Xhaka be reckless

Gabriel meh

Every Gunner knows we been needing a 1st class CDM for the longest

We keep signing meh players we gonna keep getting meh results

A LB and a proper CDM need to be addressed

^^ We right here behind you and your fam, b. There a very large percentage of us that don't bang with this mop top **** face ****** running the country atm. Understandable why you've got a sour taste about the US and what its become to you and your family.

Ain't much U in the USA, but we're going to get trough this BS.

**** face Cameron can suck a **** too.

I wonder what his muslim teammates or muslims in europe in general have to say about him right now.

I don't support the USNT anymore, but here's a little something for those of you who are fans.

http://www.espnfc.us/english-premie...meron-supports-temporary-pause-on-immigration

"I believe it's important to support our president whether he was your candidate or not," said Cameron, who spent time with the U.S. team's medical staff over the past month but did not take part in training camp because of a knee injury.

"I am pleased he is making security of all Americans one of his top priorities. Our enemies have stated -- and in Europe they have proven -- they will take advantage of lax immigration procedures for the purposes of staging attacks. A temporary pause on immigration for the purpose of evaluating and improving vetting procedures makes sense.

"The United States is one of the most generous and compassionate nations. Our ability to care for and support countries and refugees in need resides in our own sense of security. If we don't feel safe, how can we protect others?"

Cameron, who plays for Stoke City in the English Premier League, also asked for unity on the night that Trump was elected in November, tweeting: "The people have spoken! Its time for America to come together. We live in the greatest country in the world today and it will be tomorrow!"
**** this dude
