My brother just texted me that Thomas Jones went off on Brett Favre....it's on Hot97, and Flex is taking calls...can anyone in NYC say what's going on?

Favre's the reason the Jets are off the next 4 months. Dude was pitiful the last 4 weeks of the season.

i dont know if hes even replayed it yet, about 20 mins before i got to the GW bridge he was talking about how he had to find the clip then about 10 mins agowhen i pulled into my driveway he was still talking about how hes gonna play it "soon" my guess is he wont play till the final half hour of his show

Props to TJ. Someone needed to put this guy on blast. He had one good game this whole year and that was against Arizona
. He cost us the season with him and Mangina. The meat riding that Favre getsin the meida is really unparalled. Dude is like the Great White Hype x 1,000. Everyone talkign about him whipping out with the Brett Favre magic to save theseason %!$% outta here, dude won one super bowl. If he returns next year I don't know what I'll do. Get Cassel or Vick pronto

Nah, Mr. Cee or whatever was kinda instigating but Jones didn't really take the bait. His responses were actually political.
The only thing Jones said in reference to Favre was that you can't win games turning the ball over as much as the Jets did on Sunday against the Dolphins.He added that if someone is playing poorly, they should be taken out because it's not fair to the other players who have been working hard all season toget to the playoffs.

I don't want Farve here anymore than you do, but Vick AIN'T the answer and I'm tired of the Jets-to-Pats/Pats-to-Jets player pipeline.
If Brett is done, we either we get Ratliff/Clemens ready to start or take Stafford (not gonna happen).

Agreed... I don't want anything to do with those two.
If Brett is done (hopefully), and McCoy comes out, I'd love to see McCoy on this team. Even if Brett stays, that's a year McCoy can get accustomed tothe NFL.

We went 4-12 last year. Chad tore his rotator cuff and it was Jones' first year w/ the team.
If Brett is done (hopefully), and McCoy comes out, I'd love to see McCoy on this team. Even if Brett stays, that's a year McCoy can get accustomed to the NFL.
I hope he does declare, but, as of now, all signs point to him staying in school.
