Ive heard some podcast on quantum physics and quantum suicide and alternative universes, and thought this morning, what if dreams are our way of seeing and living for a small portion of time in our quantum bodies or quantum alternative universe selves.

This could be a possibility but it seems to be too much science fiction. If this was true I just had a dream about two,of the finest Asian chicks ever. So I just met the women of my dreams in an alternate reality? Aaaaahhhh damn it.:{

I read an article recently that said while dreaming, the brain is acting as if it is trying to remember something.

Too bad we got parts of our brain geared towards making us forget things as well.

It's and interesting struggle to say the least...

I agree. It doesn't make sense to me that the brain can just "create" these visuals... just doesn't make sense

Is what you see, really whats there?

We see only a very small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. Thats always helped me to reign in my view on things.

But...these terms man....

What is a quantum body?

What is a quantum alternative?

A lot of this stuff tends to give way to reifications.

Interesting.

I mean our brains are collecting information all the time. Do we really think they just turn off when you're asleep? Why do they have to be communicating with some ethereal presence while we're asleep?

my dreams are always vivid as hell..

that natural DMT

Sounds like that Astral Projection thing I've read about..unless I'm thinking about something different.

because feedback denotes intelligence at some level.

If you receive information in your dreams that pertains to or happens in real life, or other worldly things, it will strike curiosity as to the source behind it all.

I keep having this recurring dream so the other night when I was in it I was like hold up I'm dreaming here. So I look around and everything was clear as day and I was convinced it was real life. I was just as conscious in the dream as I am right now, there was no way I could tell the difference. When I woke up in the morning I was just like :eek

this right here. whether I'm having mostly black and white with color splashes, or floating through reality with colorful orbs, or meditating (yes I dream about meditating), or any of the other weird **** my brain concocts. always extra vivid.

but I do dabble in the trippy side of life. I'm sure it's affected my dreams.

I think it's a form of masturbation for our senses/emotions that build up.
that's why some people get wet dreams from not smashing.

maybe you need to have sad dreams when you've been happy?
something along those lines.

i think theres like ram in your brain somewhere and while you dream it just picks out random stuff from it to form your dream

i never dream of anything ive never seen before or havent thought of irl. how can you dream of something you dont know about.

you know like if you randomly thought of an old classmate or run in to them that day, you might dream of them later that night or a couple nights after just cause it was still in your memory block. of course its up to your brain to pick whatever this isnt a concrete equation.

Studies have suggested that when someone appears in your dreams, it's because that person misses you.

i dont believe this for a second :lol

My philopshy is you just dreams are like daydreams. You think about what's on your mind, or random things in your mind.

Dreams are like an IPod on shuffle. Your brain just throws random thoughts into your mind.

look up Carl Jung. Dude was on point when it came to dreams, had some really great theories.
