Personally I highly rank them as one of the worst inventions known to mankind and if I had it my way they wouldn’t be a thing. However, they are a thing especially in the states, and won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

I don’t think everyday people should own, but being that I don’t trust the United State Government and it’s officials I think those everyday people owning guns are necessary for the sake of balance.

People should be allowed to own guns legally

All these liberal states that have strict gun laws still have gun violence. Criminals have the upper hand because they don't care about the law.

People would think twice about shooting if there was a possibility their target would shoot back

Someone is less likely to break into someone's house if there was a possibility they would be shot at

1. agree due to circumstance.
2. correlates w/ #1 in a way.
3. that's the thing, unless u can visibly see a gun u don't know who does or who doesn't have one.
See no reason as to why a civilian needs a gun. Miss me with the protecting your house or hunting stuff.

I personally agree with Chris Rock though

reason for ur opposition?
I'm very much pro guns.
why?

your guns wont protect you from the government. lets be real this isn't the 1700's
people own guns cause they can and it makes them feel like they have a sense of security and power

im not against that though
i am against the loose gun laws and the right for everyone to have a gun
imo you should have to pass strict tests and classes to own one. you should have to pass an accuracy test etc
most people don't even go to the range to practice. they think they will just pull one out one day and be jon wick all of a sudden.

my girl wanted one. i told her no cause i wouldn't trust her with it. i know she wouldn't clean it and take care of it properly.
i also know she wouldn't go to the range often enough to be proficient in its use.

You don’t really need to clean modern guns like that.

I got a pump I haven’t cleaned in like 3 years with thousands of rounds though it.

shotgun is the best for home protection, it won’t go though your house into the neighbor’s and it’s hard to miss.

I grew up in Wyoming where hunting and fishing was a way of life. Guns were as normal as anything else so I am for people owning them legally and I am for mkre gun control. You don't need an Ar-15 to hunt.

pretty much, grew up in mn and the sight of a gun doesn’t strike fear in me like it does for someone from NYC or something. It’s just a gun.

With all the home invasions and robberies happening around the area we live in, I’ve highly considered purchasing one to protect the home.

but I’m 50/50 about going through and getting one.

I say if you want to hunt make everyone bow hunt :lol that is mad difficult.
Having lived in baltimore city and now DC i have heard too many stories of random shooting because some one is upset. The power to take some ones life because some one smashed your girl is absurd. I miss the good ol' days of just getting your *** beat.

I don't have one but I'm not against them. I'll probably grab one soon.

There isn’t a state in our country that makes owning guns illegal, so technically anyone who can legally own one could have a weapon in their house. Yet burglaries still happen on a regular basis. The guns deter violence/crime thing is a flawed NRA argument. You gotta do better than that.
